I enjoyed the vacation of my life when I stayed at the Cliffhanger in Haines, Alaska. My experience was "out of this world" viewing snow-capped mountains from three sides of the deck and relaxing with wine in hand. The local tours were great. I can't wait to return.

The Cliffhanger is a breathtaking mix of romance and adventure. I would recommend it to anyone, if part of me didn't want to keep it a secret!
The house itself is something you would have to see to believe, from the luxury furniture to the innovative architecture. I always felt comfortable and my every need looked after. Not only are the views from the living area worthy of the famous Alaskan beauty, but to be able to sit in a hot tub looking out over the mountains with a glass of champagne was just an out of this world experience.
Sue is the ideal hostess: welcoming, attentive and a first rate chef. She recommended excursions that was 100% suited to what I would enjoy, and I even had the pleasure of going to see Davidson's Glacier with her.
What you normally take away from a holiday are memories and photos. Not only do I have the best of these but I also came away from The Cliffhanger with a new friend, Sue.
